We received a pleasant surprise a few days ago when I checked the mail and noticed a Christmas card addressed to The Say Something Poster Project.
At first first glance I thought it was meant for one of the non-profit organizations we work with but after reading the opening line- Dear Say Something Poster Project Friends- a huge smile came to my face.
What makes it even more heartwarming is that it came from a designer that has submitted in both of our call for entries.
I shared the card with the team via our weekly conference call (we’re very spread out geographically) and it was clear to all of us that there is definitely a “Say Something Community” forming.
This was an exciting moment for us. Reason being, if you think about the type of people that make up this community, you’ll find extrememly tallented indivduals that are using design to make the world a better place. I can’t think of a better group of people to be a part of.
So with this being the first Christmas for the Say Something Community, I’d like to wish you all the very best for the holidays on behalf of our small team and the youth organizations we work with.
Also, if you drink, please do so responsibly and take every oppertunity to kiss your family members and loved ones.
Cheers!
- Jason
